Hydrochloric Acid (HCl 30-35%)
Ensure maximum exchange capacity in your DM plant with our Industrial Grade Hydrochloric Acid. Available in 30-35% concentration, our HCl is the preferred regenerant for Cation resins, effectively stripping hardness and mineral ions to restore your plant's demineralizing performance.

Critical Chemistry for Demineralization
Regeneration efficiency defines the output quality of a DM plant. Our Technical Grade HCl is free from organic contaminants and heavy metals that can foul resin beads. Its strong acidic properties provide a high hydrogen ion (H+) concentration, ensuring a thorough exchange during the regeneration of Strong Acid Cation (SAC) beds.
- Consistent 30% to 35% Concentration Levels
- Ideal for pH Adjustment in ETP and STP Plants
- Low Iron and Arsenic Content for Resin Safety
- Rapidly Dissolves Mineral Scales and Deposits
- Essential for Pickling and Metal Surface Treatment
- Available in Bulk Tankers or Convenient Carboys

High-Grade Hydrochloric Acid for Resin Regeneration
Maximize the demineralizing cycle of your Cation resins. Our high-purity HCl ensures efficient ion stripping and long resin life for Baddi's pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors.
Tara Enterprises is a specialized provider of Hydrochloric Acid in Baddi, supplying bulk quantities for the pharmaceutical manufacturing and water treatment industries. In demineralization plants, the purity of the acid is paramount; low-quality acid with heavy metal trace can permanently poison expensive cation resins.
For ETP operators, our 35% HCl provides a reliable solution for pH neutralization of alkaline wastewater from textile bleaching or chemical processing, ensuring the effluent meets SPCB standards before discharge.
Strong Electrolyte
Provides high hydrogen ion density for rapid and complete ion exchange.
Resin Longevity
Low impurity profile prevents mineral fouling and bead degradation.
Eductor Safe
Clean, sediment-free liquid ensures no clogging of DM plant acid eductors.
Versatile Descalant
Excellent for chemical cleaning of cooling tower fills and metal heat exchangers.

Call Bulk DeskFrequently Asked Questions
Why is HCl used instead of Sulphuric Acid for DM plants?
HCl is generally preferred for SAC resin regeneration because it prevents the formation of Calcium Sulphate (Gypusm) scale inside the resin bed, which can happen with Sulphuric Acid if not dosed at carefully stepped concentrations.
What is the correct concentration for regeneration?
Industrial HCl (30-35%) must be diluted to a concentration of 3% to 5% before being injected into the DM plant cation column. Using concentrated acid directly will damage the resin beads.
How do I store Hydrochloric Acid safely?
HCl should be stored in original HDPE carboys or rubber-lined tanks. It is highly corrosive and fuming, so the storage area must be well-ventilated, have a secondary containment dyke, and be away from alkaline chemicals.
How do I know if the acid is pure enough for my resin?
Look for 'Technical Grade' or 'Industrial Grade' with low iron (Fe) content. High iron in the acid will 'stain' the resin beads and eventually lead to a permanent loss in exchange capacity.
